SB/PS mino soloing... How is this possible?
I was practicing soloing Minos in Elona for when I remake my survivor (easy farm, which is vital). I was using a Spirit Bond/Prot Spirit build with 15 AL and Frenzy. However... I only got healed from SB about 2/3 of the time. I was very confused to see that I was losing health. SB managed to heal it back over time, but an even more confusing thing was that my health seemed to "cap" at 387, even though this was not my max health. I was wondering how this is possible. I took off prot spirit and clearly saw I was taking about 120 damage per hit... So SB certainly should have activated every attack. But it didn't. I am also sure all three skills were maintained, as the times SB didn't activate were in the middle of times it did. I also tried just standing still smashing my Frenzy, SB, and PS keys as fast as I could to make sure they stayed up. Somehow, I managed to lose health. SB should have healed me for 88 each hit, but it only did about 2/3 of the time...
Thanks for any help.

This happens because Spirit bond heals before the actual hit occurs. After that you get the damage. For instance:
- Health: 400
- Protective Spirit (Damage Cap at 40)
- Spirit Bond (bleh.. you know how it works)
A mino would hit you for 120 damage. Which get capped at 40 damage. Spirit Bond recognizes 120 damage and heals you for 80 health. Then the hit takes place and you get 40 damage, setting your health at 360. Next hit occurs, this gaining 80 hp (healing last hit) and inflicting 40 damage. Hope this makes things clear

Yeah, that really clears things up about the 387 cap Thanks! But that makes it seem to me as though my Health should ALWAYS be 387, which it was not. It often dropped below 200. Any reason for this?

The only thing I can think off would be, either some hits were in fact under 60 damage, which would be possible due to it being a none critical hit, and minimum damage. Minos use Hammers (19-35 damage) and when not using a skill no bonus damage. Im not very familiar with damage and critical hits and the like, but that could be a logical explanation.

I haven't tried this myself yet, but according to all (or almost all) of the wiki articles and forum posts I've read on SB, Frenzy does not affect whether SB triggers or not. So, if you get hit for 30, SB will not activate whether Frenzy is or is not active.
